TRAVELLER SUPPORT
General advice
You are most welcomed to discuss your Russian travel ideas
with me. Please be aware that my favourite lines are "don't overplan" and
"leave some leeway". Being poor yet attached to creature comforts I can
often issue good advise on how to move around this part of the planet
inexpensively and comfortably.
General advice is given free of charge.
I invite you to post questions of general interest on
my board.

Tickets
In theory you can reserve railroad tickets though the
Russian Railroads
site. If you are lazy, however, it may be easier to get me to buy your
tickets. All I need is your names in Russian as spelled on your visas and
your visa and your passport number.
Invitations
Tourist invitations are available though me at $80 for an
e-mailed copy. Disclaimer: lots of agencies do that for less. But you may
very well end up having to call them to prod them into action which will eat
up any savings. I can easily arrange only tourist invitations to citizens of
"western" countries. In other cases write to me anyway as I may be able to send you
to an appropriate service provider.
Registrations can also be done to my residential address
at the cost of $50/each to cover direct expenses, extra utilities I will be
charged for your registration to my property, and my assistant's time to
register and un-register you.
