Please note
For your
protection and that of other guests NO PROSTITUTES or other characters
who tend to bring trouble. Yes, you may invite guests. No problem with
them staying with you as late as they like. I encourage you to socialize
and make friends. It is essential however that you know the name,
occupation, and normal whereabouts of each of your guests. Absolutely no noisy
partying or other offensive conduct. Enjoy your stay in Moscow, make use
of privacy of the sort a hotel would not offer, but please stay out of
trouble and don't bring it upon others.
Thank you
for your understanding.
I do my
best to avoid guests that expose others to risk. The price is kept down
to allow me to be somewhat choosy. In particular, I avoid excessively
fun-loving types. Occasionally I do make a mistake. After a problematic
guest, however, the lock is always changed. Still, please
understand that I cannot guarantee 100% security due to the nature of
this sort of accommodation. If you have articles of exceptional value,
do alert me, and we'll discuss the best way to handle the situation. I'm
considering the installation of a safe. Individuals prone to making indiscrete
contacts, excessive drinking, loud merrymaking etc. please seek
accommodation elsewhere. My apartment is suitable for quite business travellers and families with well-behaved children. |

Some photos of the neighbourhood

A view onto the "House on the Embankment" from Maly Moskvoretsky
bridge. My apartment is 100 yards behind you.

A fiew from the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge onto one of the
Slalin Skyscrapers (far) and the heating plant (right). You are staying on
the other side of the heating plant, 200 yards direct distance from my
apartment. St. Basil's and Red Square are immediately to your left.

Soviet-era symbols can still be found, albeit with some
difficulty, in the neighbourhood now dominated by fancy offices and
fashionable cafes. This one is at the back of the heating plant building now
mostly occupied by banks.

Pyatnitskaya ("Friday") street as seen from the Chugunny
("Cast Iron") bridge, with your back to the Balchug-Kempinsky Hotel and Red
Square on the other side of the Moskva river. The apartment I you can rent
from me is 100 yards left
(east) from this point. |
